Papperlapapp team sustainable hip children's furniture

We are Elisabeth, Christina and Eveline. Together we are papperlapapp. Together we have seven children and together we have the dream of making sustainable toys that are not only fun but also protect the environment.
Like so many parents, we were looking for environmentally friendly ways to shape our world and our everyday lives. It's shocking how many toys are made of plastic or composite wood and how few alternatives there are. And because there wasn't what she was looking for, our founder Elisabeth took action herself.

The founder

Elisabeth is a master of product design and creates play furniture with her designs that quickly become our favorites.
The products are designed to inspire children and serve as a basis to immerse themselves in their own fantastic world.

"As a mother of four children, it is important to me that my children grow up well protected and with a feeling of security in a fast-moving world. I want to enable them to realize themselves, not be limited, and give them freedom and creativity "That's what I want for my children - and all children in the world."

Our play furniture

Our toys are made 100 percent from local corrugated cardboard. Corrugated cardboard is a flagship circular product. No tree has to be felled. It can be recycled up to 25 times, is biodegradable and binds more CO2 than it releases in its production. It is also stable and robust.
The structure of our products works through an ingenious plug-in system. No glue, plastics or tools are needed. The play furniture doesn't have to last forever. A kitchen is a kitchen as long as it is intended to be a kitchen. Then it becomes corrugated cardboard again and something new can be created.
We are thrilled and hope your children and you are too!
